There are countless local festivals in France because a person loves to celebrate here. An almost person follows traditional and cultural ways and it’s an expressive way to rejoice special moments and emotions in our lives with our loved ones. Every country has their own social life; France is one of them which designed its separate cultural and traditional image too which is also very glorious and colorful too. Festivals play a vital part in our social life by providing structure and connecting us to our families and histories. Festivals serve as stress relievers and emotional balancers. Negativity is automatically reduced when there is more positivity and strength.
The largest and most important holiday in the French calendar is Bastille Day, which is celebrated on July 14th across the country. It recalls the day the Parisian peasants and commoners seized the Bastille castle and jail. Other important holiday is 1st November which is celebrated as All Saints Day. The day is also called as La Toussaint in France, is a national holiday in France that allows families to get together to remember and honor their loved ones who have passed on. Families get together to clean and adorn gravestones. Flowers, particularly chrysanthemums, are traditionally placed on the graves of loved ones.

Other significant festivals are Festival of Lights Chorégies d'Orange, Avignon Festival and Sedan Medieval Festival. The Music Festival (Fête de la Musique) is a celebration of music.
